Tom Pryce Memorial

A fitting memorial for Tom Pryce, Wales' one and only Formula One driver who was tragically killed in South Africa on the 5th March 1977, is to be erected in his home town of Ruthin, North Wales. Tom Pryce has become one of the forgotten heros of F1 but people who knew him and saw him race realised that he was a special talent, a talent that would be taken too soon.

Eddie Knipe, a true Tom Pryce fan, has taken the project of establishing a memorial for the Welsh motorsport hero on. Eddie has tirelessly campaigned to set the wheels in motion with the Ruthin Town Council to create a trust fund to pay for a memorial. David Richards, the Prodrive boss, has added his support for the project and as such has gained fantastic exposure for the project.

For more information about the trust fund and for more details regarding the memorial and how you could contribute visit this thread.
